Recovery is extremely individual (and can vary within an individual who has had more than one concussion). The highest risk of repeat concussion is in the first 10 days after a concussion. Having said that, the real question isn’t related to the risks of playing one week after concussion, but should be framed as the risk of playing prior to recovery from a concussion.
